ZERO Engineering is proud to release the NEW Type 9 motorcycle. Combining simple good looks with an all new performance oriented frame and suspension, the Type 9 keeps the classic look of a rigid frame while offering completely unique modern suspension and a sporty ride.

Multi Link Suspension

An Industry First. F-1 racing suspension inspired multi-link suspension. To create this unique frame and suspension system the team at ZERO Engineering started from scratch.

Two years of research, development, and refinement, lead to the creation a completely new, purpouse built frame and suspension. Not only does the Type 9's design keep the clean look of a rigid frame but also offers the rider a responsive, sporty ride. In a world full of oversized choppers with compramized ridablility, the Type 9 stands out as a exceptionally maneuverable and ridable.

Design

The Type 9 follows ZERO Engineering's design philosophy and keeps the lines of the bike clean and consistent. From our new heavy duty front fork to our clean tail light cluster, the Type 9 honors American motorcycle history starting from the 50's.

Powertrain

The Type 9 comes standard with a S&S 96" Evo engine. Those who know the difference choose S&S. Efficient. Reliable. Strong. S&S Screams quality and won’t let you down. Also new for 2011- CARB certified EVO engines for California. All engines are available up to 124."

The Type 9 also comes also comes standard with a HD 5-Speed transmission. Known for their durability and simplicity, these transmissions won't let you down.

Customization

Every ZERO Engineering bike is built specifically for each rider. A mild custom paint job is a must and is included with each build. Pegs come in brass, aluminum, or black annodized aluminum. Engine sizes range from 96" to 124" and come in natural and black finishes.
